Tables are perhaps the most important pieces of furniture we own. We spend a lot of time being truly ourselves at our tables - talking, eating, working, being. They play host to define our humanity and our civility in many ways. And we all need to be reminded of importance of humanity given the uncertainty and chaos that surrounds us this year.

Moose Rejoice
The turning point
in American politics (and the idea of America) that we witnessed
Tuesday night was celebrated in different ways around the country and
around the world. There was no shortage of joyful tears on college
campuses here or among American ex-pats elsewhere. The Moose (as is their wont) celebrated quietly, majestically, turning inward on their community. We’re told that many, many relieved paddles were shed. We have not fact-checked these reports, but we did note that our Moose for Obama campaign caught the attention of the New Yorker. You can read about it online. For those of you that purchased paddles, we would love to receive a photo from you showing how you are displaying this fine piece of political history.
