Public Postings

Bologna

We all communicate in various ways.  I came across this impromptu message board in Bologna and appreciated it for the provocative visual composition as much as the recognition that “posting” in the public has taken on a new life with the internet.  I’m joining in, though I confess to finding special amusement from seeing the diversity in “postings" as they occur on the streets around the world in analog form.  Click here for examples.

If you are receiving this message it means that your email address has found its way to my personal mailing list.  I’m launching a modest website with a newsletter and blog component this month.   I plan to use it for a range of purposes to include writings, photographs, products and related content.  It will include some writing I have done in the past for DWR, but it will be primarily for new pieces created by me and other colleagues.  The idea is simply to encourage a dialogue with the design community through weekly newsletters on a motley range of topics.

You have a couple options.  Do nothing and you will be getting weekly updates which will be supplemented with other content on my website.  A feistier option would be to send along any comments my way on the content and/or on the functionality at this point.  I appreciate the feedback.  This new venture is just a start, a work in progress, and hopefully of interest to you.  It serves to keep me on the streets, looking for postings.
